Internet safety is an important topic. There are many dangers out there in cyberspace that I need to be aware of. I need to be careful giving out private information. I don’t want a stranger to be able to find me. I should ask my parents’ permission when downloading or making a social media account. My goal is to stay safe online. 

A digital footprint is a trail of data you create while using the Internet. It includes the websites you visit, emails you send, and information you submit to online services. A passive digital footprint is a data trail you unintentionally leave online.
